Erection of scaffolding. Fall of men and materials. High
All Scaffolders will work to the Low
guidelines given by NASC in the
SG4:10 and training by the CITB,
thereby reducing the risk of falls of
men and materials.
Should a Scaffolder be suspended
following a fall the rescue plan will
come into action.

Being struck by moving Injury possible fatality. Med Site traffic plan to be complied with Low
plant or vehicles. and where necessary barriers to be
erected.

Falls From Height Injury possible fatality. High Safe systems of work, to include Low
working off a minimum of 3
properly supported boards, fix
ladder access with progression of
scaffold. Adopt company procedure
for use of safety harness i.e. work to
N.A.S.C Guidance. Work to method
statement.
