comprehending gaining an average of 4.06,

o Third is 119 students answered always, that writing down notes during discussion and reading
it later makes reading more essential in comprehending,
o 112 students answered always, that they do listen tutorials on YouTube making use of their
listening comprehension more essential getting gaining an average of 3.87,
o 78 students answered always that they do practice their vocabulary making their reading
comprehension more vital in comprehending. Gaining an average of 3.78,
o 66 students answered always, that they do read their books whenever they didn’t understand
the discussion well making them make us of their reading comprehension, gaining an average
of 3.73,
o 51 students answered always, that they do catch up easily during discussion means that their
listening comprehension is more vital in comprehending, making it second least with an
average of 3.65,
o And lastly with an average of 3.57, 63 students answered always that they read scholarly
articles on the internet.

All in all, data gathered shows that listening comprehension is more effective for grade 12 students in
comprehending. The average of “listening is more essential” tops at 4.17 showing slight discrepancy with
“reading is more essential” with only an average of 4.06

The table shows that out of 320 students;
o 154 students answered always, that they intend to listen in order for them to understand the
discussion making use of their listening comprehension more, gaining the highest average of a
4.36

o Second highest with 97 students answered always that they do remember words through reading
making use of their reading comprehension more and gaining an average of 3.97
o Third with 86 students answering always, that they are superb in listening making use of their
listening comprehension more and 62 students answering always, that they easily understand
words that were used during discussions making use of their listening comprehension ability
more both gaining an average of 3.79
o 62 students answered always, that they do easily understand words written on a book gaining an
average of 3.78
o And lastly both with an average of 3.75, 73 students answered always that they do remember
words through listening rather than reading making us of their listening comprehension and 70
answered always that they do intend to read rather to listen to their teacher on discussion making

All in all, data gathered shows that listening comprehension is more preferred by grade 12 students in terms of
comprehension. The average of the students who tends to listen during discussion tops at 4.36 making listening
comprehension more favorable choice for grade 12 students during discussions.

o 201 students answered always, that they do use cellphone as a media tool to search for the
meaning of the words they didn’t understand gaining the highest average of 4.44
o 137 students answered always, that they do check the dictionary in times they don’t understand a
certain word/s gaining the second d highest average of 4.02
o 117 students answered always, that they do practice vocabulary gaining an average of 3.98
o Next with 79 students answering always say that, they do read book with deep/unfamiliar words
gaining an average of 3.53
o And lastly with the least average of 3.53, 69 students answered always, that they do listen to
video clips with deep/unfamiliar words

Data gathered shows that in terms of the comprehension ability of grade 12 students it is more likely that
reading comprehension is more vital than listening comprehension. The average of “using cellphone as a media
tool” is 4.44, means that grade 12 students found their cellphones useful in terms of a tool to help them
comprehend a certain subject.

o 177 students answered strongly agree, that they wanted all professors to give projects and
assignments one at a time, gaining the highest average of 4.35
o Second highest with an average of 4.32, 176 students strongly agreed that they should watch
movies that could help to improve your vocabulary.
o Third with 149 students answered strongly agree, that reviewing unfamiliar words to enhance my
vocabulary helps to improve their comprehension capability. Gaining an average of 4.29
o 175 students strongly agreed that listening to music helps to improve their comprehension
capability, gaining an average of 4.27
o 152 students strongly agree that getting support from relatives in terms of academic might help
to improve their comprehension ability.
o And lastly 114 students strongly agreed to engage into deep conversation with your relatives
about your problem. Gaining the least average of 3.73
Data gathered shows that students wanted to have less workload on school. Data shows that students nowadays
do found technology as a vital tool in their everyday lives especially when they need help with their school
works. With an average of 4.35, most student wanted less schoolwork’s suggesting that professor must gave
assignments and project one at a time.
