Lesson delivery
3. Have students open their books page 96. Direct students’ attention to the vocabulary section .
4. Play the CD a few times and have students point to the words and repeat . ( Track 51 )
5. Say the words again in random order and have students repeat and point.
6. Direct students’ attention to the third picture, point to the whale and ask students about it. Encourage students to answer it .
ACTIVITIES
7. Have students look at the presentation and ask them to tell teacher what they think is happening .
8. Ask students to point to the appropriate speech bubbles and follow along as teacher play the CD. ( Track 52 )
9. Ask students to listen carefully to the CD.
10. Direct students’ attention to the first picture in activity 3 and encourage them to point to the boy in their books.
11. Play the CD once , pausing after each exchange so that students have enough time to check the correct box.
12. Play the CD again and have students to check their answers.
13. Check answers as a class by having students call out the answers.
Post-lesson
14. Play the song The world has got many animals in the SB on page 95 ( Track 49 ) and have students do the TPR activity ( TB page 144 )

13. Repeat the role-play as many times as necessary to give all students a chance to perform .
14. Point to the grammar box then read it out loud .
15. Explain to the students about comparative . ( TB page 147 )
16. Give them more examples .
17. Explain to students that they will need to look back activity 1 in order to circle the correct answer.
18. Have students check their answers in pairs first , then check as a class .

table and write his/her partner’s family member in the spaces accordingly .
8. Once all of the pairs of students are done , have them report the results of the survey.
