A.) To be
To be functions as a conjunction between object and subject. in Indonesian to be (is,
are, was, were etc.) means "is" or has no meaning at all. Literally, to be means there is or is.

Auxiliary verbs are verbs that make the main verbs in sentences expand their meaning.
They can also add details about how time is conveyed in sentences. As a result, auxiliary verbs are
used to make the most complex verb forms in English: progressive and perfect aspects. This verb
also functions to convey complex nuances of meaning such as hopes, permits, possibilities,
potential, obligations, and direction.

For example, (will, shall, can, do, does, would, should, could, did).

Asking the price of an object is a common thing to do when shopping. There are many ways to
ask prices in English, one of which is to use how much is it. The following is the discussion:

How much is it?

How much is it, is the most common way to ask prices in English. Use how much is it? if the
objects we ask are singular, and how much are they? If it is plural.

Example:

 This painting is spectacular. How much is it?

 Those dolls are cute. How much are they?
