COVID-19 Comic Strip

Research as much as you can from reliable sources about the virus and create a comic
strip which should include illustrations as well as text.

Use a legal-size sheet of white paper, markers, colored pencils, ruler, pencil and eraser.

Directions

1. Sketch your comic strip. With 10 panels in all. Make sure to give your characters some
identifiable characteristics so that the reader can tell them apart. Also make sure that
the sequence of events is clear and easy to follow. Each one of the panels have to be
connected. YOU CANNOT PRINT, CUT AND PASTE.

2. The 10 panels should be of equal size even though you might need to make some larger
and some smaller, depending on what you will include in each. Draw and write in pencil
first, then trace over with pen or thin marker. Keep the illustrations and text as neat
as possible. Then, color your comic strip. The comic strip should include the following
info:
i. Signs and Symptoms
ii. Cause
iii. Pathology
iv. Diagnosis
v. How to protect yourself (5 different measures)
vi. Vaccination
vii. A brief summary from WHO

3. Give your comic strip above title and write your name in the right-hand side of the
paper.

4. Come to class ready to share your comic strip with the class.
