Having almost four years of experience with customer service, I have
excellent customer service knowledge while also being able to handle
money correctly. I can easily greet customers and maintain a professional
and friendly disposition. My experience with having multiple work study jobs
during my time attending higher education has allowed me to acquire an
abundance of leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. I am a
great team player and am willing to adapt to any situation.
EXPERIENCE
Cashier/Customer Service Associate, Walmart; Lincoln, ME — 2016-Present
• Scanning items and processing payments of cash, credit/debit card, or
checks to complete transactions.
• Make sure the cash drawer is balanced with the correct amount of money
by ensuring the right amount of change before and after every shift.
• Handle returns and exchanges at the customer service desk along with
answering phone calls and directing them to the right department.
• Interact with prospective or current students, their families, and other high
school and college counselors.
• Assist with New Student Orientation at the beginning of fall semester and
with welcome week activities at the beginning of spring semester.
• Attend two programs with mentees each semester along with planning and
leading two programs for the group each semester.
• Take food orders and preparing them within a 2-3 minute time frame.
• Prepare and bake food in a timely manner while also handling and storing
food correctly.

• Currently enrolled, expected to graduate either May or December of 2021.
