Using pictures of people working in different places elicit the meaning of:
His/her job
Using a picture of an employee elicit the name of the company (visible somewhere in the picture) and introduce “works
for”.
Then build up to “What company do you work for?”
Use naming to introduce some jobs and professions and the places where they work. (Use architect, engineer, doctor,
fireman and sales representative.

Matching game
The teacher will write two columns on the board. The first one will have the names of different jobs discussed during
the class and the second one the name of places where the people mentioned in the first column might work.
Students will have to match both columns correctly.
