We live in the 21st century.

It is a century of rapid development of science, medicine, trade

and of course technology. We live in the era of high technologies, and we use modern
inventions in our everyday life because they have brought us much comfort.

New technologies have spread on every field over the past 15 years. Moreover, they are
rapidly changing. I am a real technophile and I am obsessed with using cutting-edge
devises. However, we should realize that digital and electronic inventions have both
negative and positive impact on our daily life.

I am absolutely positive that new technologies or gadgets are making things faster, easier,
more comfortable and interesting. The list of the inventations is rather long. We are on-
lookers of great scientific achievements such as television and a computer. It is essential to
have my smartphone on my person.

Maybe, it is a kind of addiction, but nevertheless we live in the 21st century which is really
technologically advanced century and most of people have their tablet computer, headset
and smartphones on them in order to be in touch with others and use their major advances.
It goes without saying that I apply technology to my everyday life I can’t refuse to use these
pieces of technology.

I use my smartphone to the full: From watching films and listening to music up to the
online banking. It is just a deal of time for me to fix some problems with my devises.
Moreover I can use the latest technology item by trial and error. To my mind, my
generation has innate ability to use state-of-the-art devises and quickly figure out how it
works.

Summing up, I could say that there are serious arguments both for and against the use of
new technologies but anyway it’s really difficult to imagine our life without them today.
