DR. EMILIANA VR. TADEO

Vice President for Academic Affairs
This University

Dear Madam:

In response with your request to answer regarding the petition of the Officers of the
University Student Government that ALL STUDENTS BE ALLOWED TO ENTER IN THE
UNIVERSITY IN CASUAL /CIVILIAN CLOTHES ON MONDAY NOVEMBER 27, 2006.

Please be informed that the University Student Government get the wrong impression
about my Memorandum dated November 23, 2006 stated:

1. Please be advised that the implementation of wearing school uniform

for student be strictly followed every Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursday and
Fridays. Only Wednesdays are scheduled for “Wash Day.”

2. No official declaration on Monday, 27 November 2006 to be in civilian

clothes and or “Wash Day”

3. Students enrolled in SIT or OJT are not exempted from wearing school
uniform.

It is clearly stated in Memorandum Number 2 that I did not declare any suspension of not
wearing uniform on the said date. I think it is just a misconstrued by the University Student
Government because they have disseminated in their ANNOUNCEMENT (Important Notes)
Number 4 stating; “ November 27, 2006 (Monday) is a “WASHDAY.” Students are allowed to
enter the university in CIVILIAN CLOTHES for the ACQUAINTANCE PARTY.” Which
contradict my Memorandum Number 2.

However, in response with the Request of the University Student Government, I’m just
allowing the BSIE COMED, HE, EST/ET, BSECE, BSCE, BSC, BAS ES/LT and ICET 2nd year
to 4th year students ONLY not to wear their uniform on morning and afternoon session because
they are just the courses who will be involved in the SYMPOSIUM.

ALL STUDENTS will be allowed not to wear their Uniform on evening session for the
ACQUAINTANCE PARTY.

I’m hoping that this letter will clarify all the problems concerning with the said project of
the University Student Government.

Thank you and GOD BLESS!!!

Very truly yours,

DR. MARIO C. CLIMACO
