CHAPTER I

Introduction

For Almost three years that school, teachers and learners suffers to COVID-19,

we are now starting to enter a new phase of learning. Limited learning means a tight or

small number of students who will enter the classroom. It's either they will be form set

by set or a group that was divided for morning and afternoon class. It can be the start of

making learners established a good relationship to their classmates personally by

interacting and socializing more. Limited learning is a plaform where students or

learners capabilities were slightly packed since the time of exploring inside the school

were limited.

Students might felt the sudden change on the beginning of limited afce to

face. There will be another adjustments to them. From the platform, method and

strategy of teaching, and the way on how will they take their assessments. In limited

learning there is a huge possibility that instructors might use the blended type of

assessment for being considerate to the students.

Due to the said virus, DepEd strictly laid out their plans for the limited face to face

classes in schools, public or private. Schools are currently preparing for a larger amount

of students who will they accomodate in the establishment.

Background of the Study

With the spread of the pandemic in our country, many were affected and

changed especially in the education sector. Unable to come out, classes were

suspended across the country for over six months. Everyone needs to keep

learning and studying, that's why online classes have been implemented in our

country. The beginning was difficult due to the lack of equipment and lack of

knowledge of modern technologies. Many cannot keep up due to the slowness of

the internet and signal in our country, which prevents students from

understanding what is being taught.

Face-to-face education is better than online education since it boosts

interpersonal interaction between students and their instructors, encourages

students to connect with others and learn how to socialize with different people,

and there is less distraction.

Students are more motivated when limited face-to-face learning takes place

compared to online learning. The implications and potential results of this study

are used to increase knowledge and as a relevant reference for researchers

conducting similar research.

Research Locale

The research study was conducted in Emilio V. Quizon located at Talisay

San Andres Quezon. The reason why the researcher choose the Emilio V. Quizon

as the local of the study because the place is experience the pandemic and lots

of respondents.

Research Design

The researcher choose to use a quanitative research in this study in Grade

11 student because of limited face to face class the alternative of learners, this

study make harder for the lesrners in this situation. In Talisay San

Andres,Quezon of Province, the researcher notice in limited face-to-face learning

students also become more motivated in learning.

Population and Sampling

The respondents of the study will composed of Grade 11 students of

Emilio V. Quizon National High School. There were 55 respondents, the reason

why these group of respondents were choosen is because they experience of the

limited face to face and as of that there is a high possibility that the virus could

Research Instrument

In this study, the researcher will be using Questionnaire . The

questionnaire is a set of orderly arrange question carefully prepared to answer by

a group of people designed to collect facts and information. The first part of

questioner is about limited face to face classes. The second part is the questions

to be answered by respondent, Grade 11 and Grade 12, in the survey

Questionnaires to specify the level of agreement of the respondent to the

statement.

Data Gathering Procedure

The researchers would secured the permission of students for being them

respondence of the Study. they conducted in grade 11 and 12 students search

that finished work, That will signal the data gathering procedure in limited face to

face. The data would be gathering from each checklist questionare in order for

the researchers to make the summary of the gathered information and draw

conclusion, findings,and recommendations prior to.
