INTRODUCTION
Hello fellow trainers,

We are glad to hand you the first edition of Pokémon Go Lucknow Community
Magazine. It is a moment of great pleasure and content for the Lucknow
community that we are achieving a rare feat of this stature. There was always a
persistent urge within the community for showcasing their love, enthusiasm and
dedication of the players for Pokémon Go.
Hence by this new platform, we will highlight the monthly community activities,
including meet-ups, community days, raid hours, ex raid show downs, PvP arena
battles and much more. We are also publishing the alluring AR photos of players,
so please feel free to share them with us over our community social media
platforms.
A community is build-up by the vigorous efforts of each and every individual
player, on that account we will publish monthly interviews of players who are
committed for the game and its community. We also aim to publish a
commentary on various in-game features and its impact on our community.
That said, this magazine is not bound for just the community of Lucknow, but for
other cities as well, including Kanpur, Gorakhpur, Prayagraj, Agra and
manymore.
Our ultimate goal is to integrate the whole of the region as one, and thereby
helping all to grow and flourish. This magazine in your hand is an art book,
which is created from the community, by the community, and for the
community. We are working our best to present the finest experience to the
player, not just in game but in real world as well. In light of that, we request you
all to enjoy this FREE edition of the magazine, also available on our community
website (https://pokemongolucknow.wordpress.com/) for free download, share
it with your peers and participate in the future editions by sharing your
Pokémon Go creative content.
We also request you to share your valuable feedback about the magazine on our
social media platforms, which will help us to improve our content.
At last, we all thank you for joining us with this memorable journey.

Happy hunting!

TRAINER
EXPERIENCE
Hailing from the City of Nawabs & Kebabs, Hasan Khalid is a known face in
the Lucknow Pokemon Go Community. A dedicated Valor trainer, Hasan
has been a Pokemon fan since his childhood. Here's the experience shared
by one of the Top PvP player of the Community.

How long have you been playing Pokémon Go? Share with us your first
Pokemon Go experience.

I remember that I downloaded the APK of Pokémon go way back in July

2016. The enthusiasm when the game opened (after hours) was too high!!
 Questions by Abhishek Kumar.

First Pokemon game you played?

LeafGreen on my newly purchased Gameboy Micro. Was addicted to it,

the last game I played was White 2. I found a bit difficult in beating
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series, it was too exhausting.

Which is your favourite Pokemon

in Pokemon Go and why?

Difficult question, every Pokémon has

its usefulness in the PvP aspect.
(Except Magikarp)

TRAINER
EXPERIENCE
Continued.

Your ALL TIME Pokemon team of six.

All time favourite:

My team from LeafGreen
Gyrados, Venusaur, Pidgeot, Mewtwo, Moltress, Raichu
Questions by Abhishek Kumar.

What do you think about the game? How has it evolved? And as a
player, what do you expect from it in the near future?

The game has evolved A LOT! From barren spawns and no ingame events
to weekly shiny releases + tons of spawns. Everything has changed. The
game has become much simplified as compared to catching Rattatas,
Zubats and Pidgeys. (God bless Dodou's soul)

Have you ever attended any event hosted by the Community? Which
has been your most memorable one till date?

I've attended 19 Community Days (till September 2019) and 9 PvP

Tournaments hosted by the fantastic team of Pokémon GO Lucknow.
I'm happy to see the PoGO Lko team's enthusiasm in hosting the
Tournaments as our community doesn't have the strong member
numbers of Delhi and Mumbai.

4
TRAINER
EXPERIENCE
Continued.

Overall, Lucknow has developed a lot in terms of community and pokestop

accessiblity. As a player, what do you expect from it, in the short and long
term?
As I said above the work put on by PoGOLko, I'd say we are also thankful
for the contributions done by the Ingress Community in making some of
our parks with heavy Pokestops and Gym density. The main fun of this
game is playing with the Community, unless you don't have the numbers
there isn't anything much special in it.

Any personal playing tips & tricks of the game for new players?
Conserve Stardust, expand storages and wait for getting the right mons to
max up. Don't run behind shinies. Even in the core series games shiny
hunting was done when the player completed the game.

REMOTE PVP
TOURNAMENTS
A different way of Competitive PvP started just
for Uttar Pradesh players.
UP PvP Tussle or Remote PvP Tournaments can
be played at your own comfort, from your home.

How it works:

The players are divided in a group (we call it

Leagues) of maximum 20. And these players have
to become Ultra Friends with each other as soon
as possible.
If you have ever participated in GO Stadium's
PvP Tournament, you'll understand it easily.

League 1 has completed 8 PvP Tournaments till

now! Here's the latest Tournament Result.
