This document contains an end semester examination from Indian Maritime University for a Diploma in Nautical Science program. The exam has two sections - Section A covers physics concepts and Section B covers electricity and electronics. Section A includes 5 multiple choice questions covering topics like rotational kinetic energy, coefficients of expansion, simple pendulums, characteristics of sound, and mirages/refraction. Section B includes 4 multiple choice questions covering Ohm's law, electromagnetic induction, radio receivers, AC generators, and short notes on transducers and antennas. Students must answer 4 out of 5 questions in Section A and 3 out of 4 questions in Section B.
