explain the transition I intend to make from high school to studying education in college.
I believe the courses I have already taken and plan on taking in high school will prepare
colleges I have visited and which college I plan on attending. Following this slide are the
education degrees I plan to pursue. My last stop is my dream job including where and
During high school, I have taken classes that have helped me become better
suited to become a teacher. For example,I have taken Teacher Academy to learn the
basics of teaching and to get experience teaching in a real class setting and
environment. To best prepare for the subject I want to teach, I have taken math up to
Algebra lll. I am also involved in diversity club which has allowed me to present to a few
of our schools the importance of diversity within our district. I play football and baseball
for the school and baseball in the summer for a club team. Evidence (Link)
After high school, I will be attending The Ohio State University to play baseball. I
plan to be a student teacher and get more experience in teaching and being in a real
College I want to receive my bachelors and masters degree. I want to get my masters
as soon as I can after I get my bachelors degree. I will be majoring in math and
because I feel like I can help kids the most through some of their toughest times in their
life: most dramatic, stressed, depressed, happiest, saddest parts of their lives. I feel like
I can help them because I have already been through it and can send them the way of
doing things that I should have done to cope with it or I wish I did to teach them with it. I
would like to stay in the Olentangy District if possible because why not teach in one of
the best districts in the state of Ohio. I would like to teach math, science, or become a
special ed teacher and help with kids with disabilities. The interview I conducted with
Coach Lucas helped me by realizing you cannot teach a kid if you do not win over their
trust. If they do not trust you, they will not respect you in anyway or listen to you.
