ALTERNATIVES

Having alternatives is important because Recruitment and selection costs are high. The
concept of alternative is systematically analyzed by considering the importance of keeping an
alternative along with every generic strategy or specific strategies to have a substitute to ensure
success. Based on identifying various alternative used in different subject areas the importance
of alternative strategy is evaluated. According to their company they have a problem in terms of
employment recruiting. They also have alternatives in this company to solve their problems
Therefore before an organization decides to recruit new employees, it ought to consider the
feasibility of other alternatives.

Financial Issue

- The company will have partnership in a hospital for them to give their applicants free
medical exam, check-ups, etc.

- The company will come up with a plan of shuttle place starting to the pick up point until
they get to the office for the first month of employees at least the company help them in
terms of transportation.

Location Issue

- The company will deploy some applicants in their nearest workplace.

- The company will have partner company so that they have more options for deploying
newly hired employees especially to those employees far from the workplace, It’s more
accessible locations for applicants coming from afar.

Health Issue

- The company should give their employees health benefits like monthly check ups,
medical exams, etc.

- The company should offer a non-stressful work to their applicants like, maintenance,
security guard for even having minimal health issues it does not interfere the work of the
employee
Skills issue

- The company should give their employees internal training seminars led by outside
experts, and the certification and continuing professional development programs of
professional bodies.

- The company should hire newly fresh graduate because they are a clean slate. With a
range of transferable skills, and an eagerness to learn and develop.
RECOMMENDATIONS:

After the rough analysis of the data from the company these are the following
recommendations are hereby made to help and suggest for a better service of the company:

1. If the client is a type of person that hard to please, the agent or the company must have
back-up resolution plans. This recommendation is aligned with the Scientific Management
Theory by Fredrick Winslow Taylor because they need think of a new action plan by
replacing rule of thumb with science

2. On the other hand, to avoid the dishonesty in the company, examine the employees’
performance every 2 weeks or a month and check their backgrounds on their resume
paper. This recommendation is aligned with the Need Hierarchy Theory by Abraham
Maslow because it is under the safety and protection

3. They must also remember that in hiring employees, they must be strict because nowadays
some employees that came from the agencies were the ones who commit crimes that
reflect to the agency or to the company. This recommendation is aligned with the
Bureaucracy Theory by Max Webber because bureaucracy refers to the management of a
large organization.

4. To improve the high quality service, they will be asking for feedbacks from the clients on
how they will improve the quality services of the company. This recommendation is aligned
with the Modern Management Theory because it is under benchmarking that comparing
works and service methods against the best practice and outcomes for the purpose of
identifying changes that will result in higher quality output.

5. The company should require their employees to undergo seminars to help them gain more
knowledge and skills for their work. This recommendation is aligned with the Scientific
Management Theory by Fredrick Winslow Taylor because scientific management theory
because Taylor said in this theory that workers should be give adequate training and work
allotted based on their physical and technical aptitude.
6. They must conduct a survey using the systematic sampling to have another and to
introduce the company as well to the new clients. This recommendation is aligned with the
Neo- Classical Theory because the company should have standards on hiring an employee.

7. The company should give some financial incentives to those outstanding employees. This
recommendation is aligned with the Scientific Management Theory by Fredrick Winslow
Taylor because according to Taylor “Anybody who worked beyond the laid down target,
were paid higher rate of wages.”

8. The company should ask for help in the government agencies if they encounter the same
problem in terms of recruiting employees. This recommendation is aligned with the Process
Management Theory because it is in the decision of the administration if they will ask for
help.

9. The company should post some announcement about recruitment in social media because
most of the people nowadays are using social media. This recommendation is aligned with
the Process Management Theory because it is under the commercial on how they advertise
their company about recruitment on social media

10. They should come up with an action plan about this problem. This recommendation is
aligned with the Scientific Management Theory by Fredrick Winslow Taylor because they
