The crochet wavy shell border edging creates a nice 3D effect for blankets, shawls, scarves and

Terminology:
CH = Chain DC = Double Crochet
PREV = Previous RPT = Repeat
SLST = Slip Stitch ST = Stitch

Multiple of 4 STs on each side. If doing this around the four sides of a blanket, place one extra ST
in each of the four corners.

MOTIF 1: CH 3. Make 1 DC in each of the next 3 STs. CH 4. SLST to top of CH-3. CH 1. Make 7 DC
in CH-4 ring.

MOTIF 2: Make 1 DC in each of the next 4 STs. CH 4. In the back, SLST in between PREV CH-4 ring
and adjacent DC. CH 1. Make 7 DC in new CH-4 ring.

RPT MOTIF 2 until last ST on ROW.

CORNER: Make 1 DC in corner. CH 4. In the back, SLST in between PREV CH-4 ring and adjacent
DC. CH 1. Make 7 DC in new CH-4 ring.

CONT with MOTIF 2 along next straight edge. RPT CORNER as needed. Fasten off, weave ends.
