New York is a big city in the

United States (North
America). It takes thousand of
visitors every year. The city
has a population of around 8
million people. There is a lot
to see and do in New York.
You can visit the Central Park,
the Metropolian museum and
Time’s Square. In the picture
you can see the Statue of
Liberty, a monumet built
between 1875 and 1986. It is
93 meters tall. The statue is
New York (USA) – The Statue of Liberty
located on Liberty Island in
the Hudson River.
St. Peter's Square is a large plaza
located directly in front of St. Peter's
Basilica in the Vatican City, the papal
enclave inside Rome, directly west of
the neighborhood or rione of Borgo.
At the center of the square is an
Egyptian obelisk, erected at the
current site in 1586. Gian Lorenzo
Bernini designed the square almost
100 years later, including the massive
Tuscan colonnades, four columns
deep, which embrace visitors in "the
maternal arms of Mother Church". A
granite fountain constructed by
Bernini in 1675 matches another
fountain designed by Carlo Maderno

The Sydney Opera House is a
multi-venue performing arts
centre in Sydney, Australia,
identified as one of the 20th
century's most distinctive
buildings. Designed by Danish
architect Jørn Utzon, the
building was formally opened
on 20 October 1973 after a
gestation beginning with
Utzon's 1957 selection as
winner of an international
design competition. The
Sydney (Australia) – The Sydney Opera government of New South
House Wales, led by the premier,
Joseph Cahill, authorised
work to begin in 1958 with
Utzon directing construction.
The government's decision to
build Utzon's design is often
overshadowed by
circumstances that followed,
including cost and scheduling
overruns as well as the
architect's ultimate
resignation. The building and
its surrounds occupy the
whole of Bennelong Point in
Sydney Harbour, between
Sydney Cove and Farm Cove,
adjacent to the Sydney
central business district and
the Royal Botanic Gardens,
and close by the Sydney
Harbour Bridge.
Edinburgh Castle is a historic
fortress which dominates the
skyline of the city of
Edinburgh, Scotland, from its
position on the Castle Rock.
Archaeologists have
established human
occupation of the rock since
at least the Iron Age (2nd
century AD), although the
nature of the early settlement
is unclear. There has been a
royal castle on the rock since
at least the reign of David I in
Edinburgh (Scotland) – Edinburgh Castle the 12th century, and the site
continued to be a royal
residence until 1633. From the
15th century the castle's
residential role declined, and
by the 17th century it was
principally used as military
barracks with a large
garrison. Its importance as a
part of Scotland's national
heritage was recognised
increasingly from the early
19th century onwards, and
various restoration
programmes have been
carried out over the past
century and a half. As one of
the most important
strongholds in the Kingdom of
Scotland, Edinburgh Castle
was involved in many
historical conflicts from the
Wars of Scottish
Independence in the 14th
century to the Jacobite Rising
of 1745.
 Burj Khalifa known as Burj
Dubai before its inauguration,
is a megatall skyscraper in
Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
It is the tallest structure in
the world, standing at 829.8 m
(2,722 ft).[4][9] Construction
of the Burj Khalifa began in
2004, with the exterior
completed in 2009. The
primary structure is
reinforced concrete. The
building was opened in 2010
Dubai (United Arab Emirates) – The Burj as part of a new development
Khalifa called Downtown Dubai. It is
designed to be the
centerpiece of large-scale,
mixed-use development. The
decision to build the building
is reportedly based on the
government's decision to
diversify from an oil- based
economy, and for Dubai to
gain international recognition.
The building was named in
honor of the ruler of Abu
Dhabi and president of the
United Arab Emirates, Dubai
(United Arab Emirates)
