Receive all the contract documents i.e.
 Contract
 Conditions of contract.
 Post contender correspondences which is part of contract.

Ensure that the Contract drawings and the further drawings like Building Permit drawings,
issued-for-construction (IFC) issued by the consultant/engineer are logged by the document
controller.
2 Review the IFC documents (Contract, specification, Drawings, BOQ) to list out the
subcontractors & Shop Drawings required for the project.
3 Ensure that the log for the following are made and updated
1. Prequalification Submittals ( PQF)
2. Material submittals (MAT)
3. Shop Drawings (SPD)
4. Methods statement (MET)
5. As-Built-Drawings (ABD
4 Communicate the Technical requirements of the project to
 Technical Manager,
 Technical department staff consisting of Structural engineer, Architect,
Draughtsman,
 Estidama/ LEED Compliance officers,
 Construction manager and all other project staff.
5 Attend Progress, Technical and Estidama related meeting as require with Client, Consultant,
subcontractors and internal staff as required.
Review the Architectural and Civil drawings, specification etc. to detect discrepancies.
Discuss the discrepancies with Technical manager detected in the Contract documents/ IFC

documents by technical department staff. Discus internally, decide the action required and
action on the discrepancies through RFI if required.
Review the answer to Architectural and Civil RFI and notify the contracts department in case

of cost or time extension requirement.

8 Ensure the preparation of summary of changes, whenever the architecture drawings are
revised by the consultants and forward the same to the contracts department.
Prepare IOM to purchase department for the list of materials required and details of each

material required
Prepare, review and ensure the approval of the following submittals of Civil, Architectural
items of works by the project consultant i.e.
1. Prequalification Submittals ( PQF)
2. Material submittals (MAT)
10 3. Shop Drawings (SPD)
4. Methods statement (MET)
5. As-Built-Drawings (ABD)
6. Estidama Reports( EST)
with respect t to the project requirements and Estidama requirement ( if applicable)
Review the comments on the Architectural submittals by the consultant and notify the

Technical manager in case of cost or time extension requirement.
Prepare alternative solutions for unworkable design drawings and discuss the same with
12 technical manager and internal staff and thereafter ensure the solution is submitted and
approval by the consultant.
13 Review the logs for the submittal and report the delayed and the critical items.
Prepare the handing over documents of Architecture, items and coordinate with the MEP for
