A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE RECONSTITUTION OF THE BARANGAY HEALTH BOARD ON BARANGAY

GUBAT-ILAWOD,BACACAY,ALBAY.

WHEREAS, the Barangay health board is a special body covered by virtue of Republic act no.7160 whose
main duty is to guarantee equitable,sustainable and quality health for all,sepecially poor.

NOWTHEREFORE, I, MICHAEL B. BASE, Barangay Chairman of Barangay Gubat-Ilawod,Bacacay,Albay, by

virtue of the powers vested in me by the law, the hereby order that the Barangay Health Board(BHB)was
reconstituted.

SECTION 1. Composition: The Barangay Health Board shall be composed of the following.

Chairman: Hon.Michael B.Base

Barangay Chairman

Vice Chairman: Teresita Barcenas, RM

Rural Health Midwife

Members: Hon.Ma.Socorro Belga

Committee on Health

Princess Diana Rose Gimantog

Nurse Deployment Project(DOH)

SECTION 2. Powers and Functions. The Baranagay Health Board shall:

a.Propose to the barangay council, in acceptance with the standards and criteria out by the
Department of Health annual budgetary allocation for health services in the barangay.
b.Serve as an advisory committee to the Barangay Council on the health matters such as, but not
limited to the necessity for, and application of local appropriations for public health purpose and
c.Propose to the chairman the undertaking of programs and properties in support of the overall
health thrust of the national government.
SECTION 3. Meetings and Quorom
a.The barangay health board shall meet at least once a month or as orders as may be necessary.
b.The majority of the members of board shall constitute a quorum, but the Chairman or committee
health must be present during meetings, where budgetary proposals are being prepared or
considered. The alternative vote of a majority of the members shall necessary to approve such
proposals.
SECTION 4. Compensation and Renumeration. The hairman committee on Health and members of the
Barangay Health Board shall perform their duties as such without compensation or renumerations.
SECTION 5. Repeating Clause. All other order, issuance and memoranda issued inconsistent herewith are
hereby repeated or modified accordingly.
SECTION 6.Effectively. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
NOWTHEREFORE,A MOTION OF Hon.MICHAEL BASE and seconded by all council members present.
RESOLVED FURTHER a copy of the resolution be furnished all agencies concerned for information.
UNANIMOULSLY APPROVED this ist day of September,2018 regular session of Barangay Gubat-
Ilawod,Bacacay,Albay.
