EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 4 SERIES 2024

AN ORDER REORGANIZING THE BARANGAY NUTRITION COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, improved quality of life is the ultimate goal of Philippine Development and Nutritional
Improvement is a critical component thereof;
WHEREAS, the Local Government Code gives the local government units (LGUs) more authority
and responsibility in charting their over-all development. Inherent thereto, is the delivery of basic services,
which include nutrition and related activities;
WHEREAS, EO 234 dated July 22, 1987 enjoins the organization of a Local Nutrition Council at the
provincial/city/municipal levels to address malnutrition problem that continue to plague the locality and
the nation as a whole;
NOW THEREFORE, I, TERESITA L. EMPIG, by the powers vested in me by law as the Punong
Barangay of Barangay No. 31 Centro-Baybay, Legazpi City, Albay do hereby reorganize the Barangay
Nutrition Committee with the following composition:
