A RESOLUTION RE-ORGANIZING BARANGAY DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL (BDC) OF BARANGAY

SUG-ANGON, SAINT BERNARD, SOUTHERN LEYTE

WHEREAS, the membership of Barangay Development Council in accordance with prescribe

members per Section 107 of RA 7160 and shall be composed of the following members:

WHEREAS, the Barangay Development Council is created for the Local Government Code Unit
of Barangay Sug-angon, Saint Bernard, Southern Leyte, pursuant to RA 7160 of 1991 (LGC)
Section 106 thereto;

WHEREAS, the Barangay Development Council is a planning and coordinative body in the
barangays;

WHEREAS, the BDC has the following functions:

1. Mobilized peoples participation in Local Development efforts.

2. Prepare Barangay Development Plans based on Local requirements.
3. Monitor and Evaluate the implementation of National or Local Programs and Projects.
4. Perform such other functions as may be provided by law.

WHEREAS, the appointed set of members will perform the duties and functions pursuant to the
Provisions and Implementing Rules and Regulations of Philippine Laws.

WHEREFORE, on motion of Hon. Marites S. Dulpina duly seconded unanimously by members of

the chamber during Regular Session assembled be it;

RESOLVE, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, A Resolution Re-organizing the Barangay Development Council

(BDC) for the Local Government Unit of Barangay Sug-angon, Saint Bernard, Southern Leyte

RESOLVE FURTHER, to furnish copy of this resolution to DILG office for their information and record
purposes.

APPROVED AND CONFIRM, this 28th day of January, 2022 at Barangay Sug-angon, Saint Bernard,
Southern Leyte.
