Performance Standards: The students will create a collage showing how much the Church is still
very much at work even during the pandemic time; loving, serving and being merciful to neighbors
from all walks of life as a sign that it is God/Jesus in action.
Objectives:
No pandemic or covid_19 virus can dampen the spirit of love, service and mercy of the
Filipinos that includes our Young Thomasian students to be socially, economically, spiritually and
emotionally active and involve in what is going on not only in the Philippines but globally. There is
no small act that is considered small or insignificant because we are all capable of contributing to the
faster flattening of the curve, avoidance of further spread and be a source of strength, hope and
inspiration to everyone specially those who are risking their lives for the safety of everyone. The
collage that they will individually accomplish aims to:
Description:
Inspired by our current situation, create a collage depicting on how our student’s own family
and other families are manifesting love for our neighbors and how our front liners (health workers-
doctors, nurses, medical technologist, pharmacist, etc., barangay officials, soldiers/policemen, garbage
collectors, janitors, utility personnel, security guards, grocery staff, bank employees, food delivers and
many others) are unselfishly serving the nation despite the great risk of being exposed, contaminated
and infected by the virus. At the bottom of the collage, it will be concluded by a prayer for mercy
(personally composed by the student) for the following: a. for the eternal repose of the souls of the
victims who died because of covid_19; b. for the families of those left behind by those who passed
away due to the virus; c. for those who are presently affected and still battling with the virus and d.
for the people assigned to seek cure from this virus.
Materials:
Camera for documentation or recent pictures from the internet
Tablet/mobile phone /laptop
Internet connection
Paper and pen
Mechanics:
1. Hopefully as responsible members of the society and the Church, students must be fully aware
of what is going on right now. The students will gather own pictures taken since the start of
the lockdown or ECQ that clearly shows how they continuously manifested love for one
another. In case of unavailability of such pictures due to some valid reasons, the students may
use and combine with pictures online (local or international pictures) that depict the same
idea. How families from all walks of life reach out to one another in love. Use the image of the
Sacred of Jesus to collate all these pictures. (minimum of 5 pictures). Be creative on how you
can integrate them together.
2. Next, gather pictures of our front liners in active service. This time use the image of Jesus
while washing the feet of the apostles. Again, show your creative thinking skills to show the
connection. (minimum of 7 pictures)
3. Conclude the collage by placing at the bottom part, a prayer for mercy which the student will
individually composed for the people mentioned in the description.
4. Submit the final output on May 21, 2020 through the cloud campus with proper label /file
name. (Section, Class No. B or G and Surname, First Name , Middle Initial)
