Warm up: Flashcards
Introduce family members 5’

Development:
Copy vocabulary and draw a family tree writing the corresponding words on the right places.
Teacher draws a family tree on the board; students come to the front and write the family members on the 40’
corresponding places.

Wrap up:
Compare work 5’

SESSION 2
STAGE TIME MATERIAL
Warm up: Flashcards
Introduce vocabulary to describe hair and facial features. Copy vocabulary on notebook. 5’

Development:
Write some descriptions on the board using the new vocabulary, students make the corresponding drawings.
Students choose three people from the family tree from the first activity, and write a short description about 20’
them.
Wrap up:
Students read their descriptions and the rest of the class guesses who they are talking about. 5’

Review new vocabulary 5’

Development:
On a worksheet, students read the description of a family and color the images as indicated on the
worksheet.
Unscramble family members words and classify them into male and female. 40’
