SESSION 1
STAGE TIME MATERIALS
Warm up: Book
Give instructions to open/close book and mimic actions. 5’

Development:
Write the dialogues from pg.11 on the board and have students repeat them, and explan what they are used
for.
On pg. 8, students complete the courtesy expressions with the help of the teacher. 40’
On pg. 12 ex.3, students circle the courtesy, greetings and farewell words, each with a different color.

Wrap up:
Students compare their answers. 5’

SESSION 2
STAGE TIME MATERIAL
Warm up: Book
Student play “Simon says” with the commands sit down and stand up. 5’
Development:
On pg. 13 ex,6, students complete the courtesy expressions with the help of the teacher and count the words
for each phrase.
Students look at the pictures on pg.13 ex.8 and say what is happening, then they write the correct dialogues 40’
with the help of the teacher.

Wrap up:
Check answers in group. 5’
