These lectures aim at introducing the students with the basic and fundamental concepts of
Indian philosophical systems, particularly of Nyaya system; Indian Model of Philosophical
Analysis, Indian Model of Cognitive analysis, Theory of verbal communication, Techniques
of developing Navya Nyaya Language etc.
This text is read line-by-line in order to generate familiarity and confidence with the Navya
Nyaya Language.
The medium of instruction will be either English or Hindi or Sanskrit as per the choice of the
participants.
Although knowledge of Sanskrit language will be advantageous, it is not essential for this
course, because everything is explained in English or Hindi or Sanskrit. So any body of any
discipline (including computer science) can join this course.
It is an intensive course of two hours lectures and two hours text-reading every day.
At the end of the course there will be a Test of 100 Marks in order to have Feedback.
Certificate of participation will be awarded by the Institution (CIFSS) where the course will
be conducted.
Faculty : (1) Professor V N Jha, Former Director, Centre of Advanced Study in Sanskrit,
University of Pune.
(2) Professor Mrs. Ujjwala Jha, Director, Centre of Advanced Study in Sanskrit, University
of Pune.
One who will complete this course will be admitted to the next Levels ( II and III) of 10 days
each, to be organized later at some convenient time.

Notable:
Participants should reach on 1st July 2012 or 2nd July morning before 8’o clock.
Participants may send their draft in the favour of ‘Director, Chinmaya International
Foundation Shodha Sansthan’
Boarding and lodging will be provided to all the participants within the campus
The programme will start on 2nd July at 9.00 am and end on 13th at 2.00 pm.
Last date of registration is 15th June 2012.
