#Reflection

Speech is always been a part of us as a human being, because it's our way on how we are able to
speak in front of many people or in a certain group. It is important in our daily life because we
used it for communication, to comprehend the thoughts of what others would want to tell us.
Also, speech is somehow our way of self-discovery, and self renewal that is essential to our
growth of our human personality, and because speech is something that make people believed of
what you say, that's why it's very important that everything you say is true especially when in
front of the crowd. And, theater arts are also important in our daily life because through it, we've
seen what had happened in the past, and if I'm one of the performers then I would know
everything and will keep it into my mind, and never be forgotten because I'm not just
memorizing it but rather acting it in front of many people with live performance.

Both really gives development in my skills of communication. Through it, I've been guided by
what should I say, and it's ideas that deals from speech in any language being used. It develops
the skills in understanding its purpose and the emotion. It makes me more aware of what and
how to express in order for other people to understand what I'm trying to say or trying to express
with such emotions.

The life lessons of listening effectively and speaking tips have taught me that I should not just
hear what other people say instead I should listen carefully and understand it, so that I will not
misinterpret the one who talk, so that I can give solutions, and it taught me that I should put first
myself in someone shoes, so that I will not judge directly. And, speaking tips taught me that I
should not just speak but rather showed proper breathing and what kind of voice used, if it's too
loud or soft. Also, it taught me that I should not speak too fast because others would not
understand what I'm saying, and wouldn't used too slow because others might get bored. That's
why both taught me to listen sincerely and speak naturally.
