What are your strengths and weaknesses?
I have always had a technical mind and enjoy solving problems as well as having excellent
communication skills and can communicate with all levels of personnel. I am very organised
and thorough, I always ensure that my work is well thought out and completed on time also
with my utmost effort. I would say my weakness when starting a new task I tend to rush in
without taking in all the information provided and I am more likely to make mistakes. I am
learning to correct this by being patient and planning more before I start
It is a very well established company within the UK and a leader in its industry. As there are
many employees there is always room for Improvement. It is a sense of achievement not just
in my working life but in my personal life
I believe that the role is suited to me as from experience such as building circuits manually
and I found this extremely beneficial a gained a better understanding of the task. Allowing
me to become more independent alongside helping me to reach a goal of a fully qualified
technical engineer.
While on my level 3 course I have learnt how to build and test circuits also the interpreting of
different engineering drawings. I have already gained my safety passport where I had to
learn about how important safety is at work.
I see myself having completed all of my relevant studies to the highest grades while learning
the trade. Having completed this my aim so to become a fully qualified engineer with luxury
and leisure.
I honestly believe that both I and the company will benefit if I became an apprentice at the
company. I will be able to offer your company great enthusiasm, passion and determination
to succeed in the engineering industry. For myself, I will be given the opportunity to learn
from such an honourable and respected company.
About yourself?
I am currently studying an electrical apprenticeship course and I am now wanting to gain an
apprenticeship as I feel that this is the way I can progress more career more effectively with
the backing of a good company.
Team working?
A good team needs to have clear objectives and goals. Each person needs to be clear what
their role is and what is expected of each person. There needs to be openness and trust with
clear communication.
