 1. Background of the project

The idea of the project is a mobile application that includes a group of

pharmacies in a specific area on Benha.

Assumed to search for a specific drug, so all pharmacies in which the drug is
available will appear, and then he can determine the nearest pharmacy to him.

If the drug that the customer searches for incomplete or not available then the
application can provide the alternative medicine for it.

It will be some feature that the patient will be able to describe his medical
condition if he is not able to determine what he has, so he will describe his
condition and the program will show him the medicines that match this
condition, and this will be for common diseases such as cold, cough and
headache

2. Motivation for the project

In the first, it was difficult for the patient to be able to deliver the drug he needs
especially if the medicine was deficient, as the application would provide him this

medicine without effort.

Also help the patient to know everything about this medicine, especially the price,
because some pharmacies exploit that the drug is deficient and an increase in its price
3. Problem statement

1- It is difficult for the patient to purchase the medicine, especially if it is not

available.
2- It is possible that the patient buys the medicine at a price other than the original
price.
3- It is difficult for the patient to know which alternative medicine to achieve the
same recovery result.

4. Scope of the project

At first we will execute our project in Benha and we hope to publish it on Egypt.

Our website services:-

1- Our application is an online pharmacy.

2- It helps the patient to easily search for and access the drug he wants without
effort.
3- It will be some feature that the patient will be able to describe his medical
condition if he is not able to determine what he has, so he will describe his
condition and the program will show him the medicines that match this
condition, and this will be for common diseases such as cold, cough and
headache.
4- The application will help companies market new medicines.
5- Every pharmacy will have all the information about it, including an address and
a phone number, to make it easier for the patient to access the medicine.

5. Literature review

The existing programs describe the medicine, but the our application determines the
alternative medicine and its location on Benha.

6. Project requirements

1. Android app version 6.

2. Database ( MYSQL).
3. Location (Google map service).
4. Android studio (JAVA)

7. Project objectives

1. Ease of access to the drug by searching for it.

2. Ease of access to the alternative if the drug is not available.
3. Know the real price of the drug without exploitation.
4. Providing access to some suitable medicines to treat some common conditions.

 5. It will display the offers submitted by pharmacies, whether they are on
medication or cosmetics.
6. It allows the patient to contact the pharmacy.

8. Expected outcomes

-We hope that the project will achieve some of the expected results for patients and
pharmacies….

1- It increases the pharmacy's reputation and efficiency by providing if the patient has
every need

2-Increases the demand of patients at the pharmacy so increases the profit for the
pharmacy.

3It helps companies market their new products which with the same efficiency of the
required product.

1- It helps the patient to easily search for and access the drug he wants without effort.
