Resolution passed in emergency general body meeting held on 16th

June 2019 at Community hall of Mahaveer galaxy apartment

Managing committee of Mahaveer galaxy apartment owner’s welfare association had called for an
emergency general body meeting on 16th June 2019 to discuss and identify a solution to the existing
water crisis at the apartment complex.

During the meeting IT was resolved that all owners shall contribute to fix the issues related to water at
Mahaveer galaxy apartment complex. The amount of INR 10,000 shall be paid by each owner to
address the ongoing issues at our apartment complex and MC use the funds efficiently to address the
issues.

Solution will be implemented in two phases

1. Short term solution

a. Implementing new bore well
b. Supply of water tankers till new bore is commissioned
c. Fixing timings for supply of water to flats instead of 24x7 supply
2. Long term solution
a. Study and implementing rain water harvesting solution to recharge existing bore wells
b. Work with government/BWSSB and builder regarding commissioning of Cauvery water
to our apartment
c. Study utilization and repurpose of STP water effectively within apartment complex
(Please note: MC will only implement this solution if MC is convinced that safety of
residents are guaranteed with this approach)
d. Implementation of individual meters for each flat to identify consumption and fixing
fees for the consumption of water

The first installment of INR 2000/- to be paid on immediate basis by residents (by 21 st June 2019) which
will be used for implementing new bore well and supply of water tankers till bore well is commissioned.
Remaining amount of INR 8000/- to be paid by 30 th of September 2019 without fail.

Please note: the funds contributed will be used for the above work and any fund that is leftover shall be
used as sinking fund for handling major repair work in the common area of the apartment complex. MC
will also announce the sinking fund to be paid by residents as agreed in the previous GBM.

MC has opened a separate account to handle sinking fund and all payments shall be made to the
account mentioned below.
