Project Proposal: The Enhancement of the Drainage System for the students and teacher
of Virgen del Pilar School

Background
This project was mainly created to reduce the flood disaster in the school campus but after further research we
conclude that this project is great project to ensure the safety of the students and teachers and to prevent any
incidents that may happen in the near future.

Objectives
· Flood Disaster Risk Reduction
· Prevent any Waterborne Diseases
· Preserve the Landscape of the School

Scope
It will help the school management to ensure the safety of the students to their parents and it also deduct a possible
hazard in the school .

Phase One Have a strict assessment of the school’ drainage 05-07, March 2020
system and terrain to identify possible risk factors

Phase Two Carefully plan and manage the resources 08-10, March 2020
needed to make the project flawless

Phase Three Build the drainage system and other necessary 11-31 , March 2020

Project Justification
This project is for the enhancement of the augmentation of the school’s drainage system and we strongly
believe that we are highly capable in executing this project than anyone else because we have conducted
several assessments before inside the campus . We also have the skills and mindset to engage ourselves
in this project thus I conclude that our team is competent for this project

Abstract
This plan evaluates an enhancement of the drainage system in Virgen del Pilar School and
establish a plan for the recommended improvements. This proposal seeks safety of the
students, teaching and non-teaching staffs. More specifically, this plan presents the problem,
identifies the improvement designed to relieve existing problem areas or potential future
problem areas, and recommend standards for the design of the drainage system. We will be
needing help from the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council for the assessment
around the school. And also, for the implementation and improvisation of the drainage system
we will be needing help from the San Jose Builders Inc
