Most of us believed that environment played a big part in learning process. Creating classroom
conducive to learning helped a lot for the students to become sensitive and easily gained knowledge
effectively.
The Department of Education with the cooperation of all Public School Teachers’ with the full
support of all Principals/School Heads/OIC’s conducted the National Brigada Eskwela on May 30 to June
4, 2016 where all education stakeholders contributed their time, effort and resources in ensuring that
the school facilities are ready for school opening
As early as March , Ma’am Leila P. Catapang with the School Brigada Coordinator with each
members recruited volunteers who could helped achieved the targeted goals . Parents , school Alumni
and other people from the community were encouraged to join the week -long annual program. Private
Sectors , Different NGO’s , Private Individuals and Local Government Agencies were looked up to in
order to gave their support.
On the month of April members of the School Inspection Team made their rounds to checked
among other School facilities need to repair and maintained.
Early morning of May 30 2016 , teachers held a short program. The presence of the different
group of volunteers was acknowledge. Short orientation about the mechanics of the 5 th-day activity was
given .Finally opening of the Brigada Eskwela was announced. Among other activities are repainting of
the classrooms, walls, ceilings , doors , windows and window grills, there are also repairs of desk,
armchairs and cabinets. Cleaning of the school surroundings and rehabilitation of the school garden
were assigned to some parents who happily worked together and enthusiastic to served and cooperate
among others.
June 4, 2016, was the last day of the week- long activity . Through the overwhelming support of
the volunteered stakeholders , classroom are restructured and spruced up. All school facilities were in
good condition, grasses wear teamed perfectly. Generally the School is ready for opening of classes on
June 13, 2016.
