BBA End Semester Examinations


Ref:Notice/ESE/03/2020 Dated 7 th June, 2020

Please be informed that BBA End Semester Examinations for Semester II, IV and VI will
be conducted online from 24th June, 2020.

a. The examination will be taken by students online from home.


b. End Semester Examination will be for Two hour. One Examination a day.
c. Pattern of Examination question paper:
Total Marks – 100 marks
Total Time – 120 mins
Pattern:
60 marks - Multiple Choice Questions for 1 mark/2 marks – to be administered for 60
mins
40 marks - 2 Open Book Questions – to be administered separately for 60 mins.

d. Schedule will be released soon.


e. Students are requested to READ the STUDENTS GUIDELINES FOR ONLINE
EXAMINATIONS (enclosed) thoroughly.

GUIDELINES TO STUDENTS FOR ONLINE EXAMINATIONS

1. Students are suggested to take Exam with Laptop / Desktop with WEBCAM &
SPEAKERS in working condition throughout the examination and students are expected
to arrange for the same.

2. Students should ensure uninterrupted Wi-Fi/Internet facility and electricity power


supply.

3. Students shall login/report 30 min prior to the examination scheduled time. The
invigilators will carry out verification process to ensure the identity of the student.
Students should keep their ID cards ready to produce before invigilators.

4. The student should not move from the front of the monitor/camera after the verification of
the identity.

5. Students will be given 10 minutes break between Part-1(MCQs) andPart-2(Descriptive)


of the examination.

6. With reference to Part-1(MCQs), there is NO Negative Marking.

7. Students shall compulsorily login again after break so as to attempt the Part-
2(Descriptive) of the examination.

8. Only on completion and submission of Multiple Choice, the Descriptive Question Paper
will be made available to them to attempt after the break.

9. With respect to Descriptive Question paper,


a. Student will be provided options to use the online platform to type the answer OR to
write using pen &paper, Scan and upload. Students are expected to pick-up the right
option before starting the exam.

b. Students shall use only A4 White Papers to write.

c. Students opting to write using pen & paper will be given extra 5 mins at the end of
exam to scan &upload the handwritten document. Please note you are monitored for
doing the same and any attempt to write beyond the exam time will be considered as
unfair practice.

d. Students are directed to mention page numbers on handwritten sheets before scanning
and uploading as a single PDF /Word file.

e. It is the responsibility of the student to maintain good quality of Scanned answer


copy.

f. Any kind of blurred /hazy/unclear scanning and uploading will lead to improper
evaluation.
10. Students will be continuously monitored by faculty members through GoogleMeet using
Webcam.

11. Students are expected to uphold Standards of academic integrity and honest all through
the duration of Examination.

12. Students have to mute/turn off their microphone and keep their Web-cam ON-mode all
through the entire exam duration.

13. Students having trouble accessing their online exam should contact the exam-in-charge
(ref to point 17) and rectify the problem as early as possible to avoid difficulties during
the main exams.

14. Indicative instances (not complete list) of unfair practices:

a. The student moving away from the front of the monitor/camera after the verification
of the identity.

b. During Part-1(MCQs) of the examination, seeing beyond the monitor will be


considered an unfair practice.

c. Students to ensure No other person comes within the view of camera during the exam.

d. Use of mobile or any other electronic device during the examination.

e. The students calling or texting anyone or using chat box.

f. Students speaking or discussing with anyone.

15. Do’s and Don’ts for the online exam using Laptop/Desktop
Do’s

• Charge the Laptop well in advance


• Clear Cache (Laptop and Desktop)https://clear-my-cache.com/en/windows.html
• Keep the browser updated(Chrome/Mozilla/Explorer)
• Only one exam window should be opened.

Don’t’s
• Do not switch / open any other window
• Don’t use mobile phone
• Do not use headphones/Earphones excepting for the purpose of examination.
• Do not press refresh button.
• Do not resort to any sort of malpractice during the exam like using WhatsAPP,
electronic gadgets etc.

16. Should anyone find difficulty during the examination, student shall raise his/her hand to
seek the permission of invigilator and communicate through chat box.
