1.1 Project Background

Forest industry has been growing and expanding exponentially considering the current
growth and development of the society and tremendous changes in the society. The present
revenue of the industry is $23 billion that is a figure of the entire Australian forest industry and
approximately introducing jobs to the 70,000 individuals. The same growth can be seen in the
Australian forest industry in which the industry is contributing in the advanced increment in the
economy. Every coin has two faces, same is related to this development and expansion as,
cutting tress have adverse impact over the environment and thus, could possibly hamper the
future of the society. ATC Australia Tree Corp. is one of the greatest owners of the varied
forested estates in Western Australia and has been holding 200,000 ha of land with a complete
cycle of the 10,000 ha per year or around 5 million of trees per year.

The aim of this project is to adopt the planting of the hybrid trees that can allow the ATC
in adopting the best factors related to the improvement in the production of the company. This
report covers the managerial aspects those are related to the development and deployment of the
project management activities and considerable for the delivery and management of the daily
operations related to the deployment of the project that can allow the smooth and effective
management of the entire project. The report will be covering the background of the project,
scheduling of the project, risk management, budgeting of the project, and the communication
plant including the strategies those could alternatively contribute in the successful and efficient
delivery of the entire project.

1.2 Project goal (SMART goal)

The SMART goal of this Australian Tree Corp project is mentioned below:

S To replace or upgrade the existing planting system with new plant breed
M To improve the revenue of the company by 20%
A To complete the project within 100 +- 10% days and in $10,000 +- 10% budget
R To use the machines, human resources and the research and development team in
accomplishing it
T To complete the entire project within 100 days
1.3 Project Objective
 To complete the project within the estimated constraints
 To improve the overall revenue of the company
 To use the research and development team for meeting the needs and requirements of the

5. Communication Management Plan

[Plantation of hybrid trees for Australian Tree Corporation]

Project Information
The estimated budget of the project is 10,000 dollars and the timeline of the project is 100+-10%
days. The approach is to replace the existing lands with hybrid trees those can increase the
frequency of the harvesting and improve the overall production of the company.

Version Control:

This is the first developed plan

Purpose of Communication Strategy:

To internal stakeholders

 ATC internal operational stakeholders

 Research and development team
 Project manger
 Staffs and employees
 Supervisors

Communications Strategy

1. Internal Information Management

 Communication mode 1
 Face to face meeting in the form of discussions, arguments or brainstorming, allowing
the different stakeholders to discuss on the same context.
 Communication mode 2
 Email or feedback board, where the individuals can inform personally with confidence of
not being exposed.
 Communication mode 3
 Group meetings with the key stakeholders in conference room considering the discussion
on the current delivery of the project.

External Stakeholders
 End customers
 Australian community
 Forest Department

Communication mode 1
Newsletter, conversing the description of all the information on the ongoing progress of
the project
Communication mode 2
Social media for spreading the information and taking the feedbacks directly from the end
consumers

6. Recommendations
1. The project manager must audit the entire project using the efficient told such as benchmarking it
baseline.
2. The communication plan must be followed throughout the project in manner to make sure that
every stakeholder is absurd with the project.
3. There must be approval on the planning and estimations at each stage of the project.
