JOINT SPECIAL POWER OF ATTORNEY

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:

We, ARSENIO C. BONIFACIO, of legal age, Filipino and with postal address at #12
St. Francis Vill., Sta. Quiteria, Caloocan City and REYNALDO P. BONIFACIO, of legal age,
Filipino and with postal address at #12 St. Francis Vill., Sta. Quiteria, Caloocan City, do hereby
name, constitute and appoint GEMGRACE VARGAS PACHECO, of legal age, Filipino to be
my true and lawful attorney-in-fact for us and in our names, place and stead, to do and perform
the following acts and things, namely:

To prosecute, facilitate and move to expedite the resolution of the case for Mandamus
pending before the Supreme Court under case no. G.R. No. 14249, which may include and shall
not be limited to the engagement of the services of counsel and the use of mobilization funds for
achieving the said purpose.

HEREBY GIVING AND GRANTING unto our said attorney-in-fact full powers and
authority to do and perform all and every act requisite or necessary to carry into effect the
foregoing authority, as fully to all intents and purposes as we might or could lawfully do if
personally present and hereby ratifying and confirming all that our said attorney-in-fact shall
lawfully do or cause to be done by virtue hereof. This Special Power of Attorney is executed in
our personal capacities as a direct heirs / descendants of the late MARIA DELA CONCEPCION
VIDAL and as a confirmation of the power and authority given to us through the Supplemental
Memorandum of Agreement dated October 10, 1997, herein attached to GEMGRACE V.
PACHECO. We are also confirming in this document the fact that we ARSENIO BONIFACIO
and REYNALDO BONIFACIO have been authorized by the heirs of MARIA DELA
CONCEPCION VIDAL to prosecute and avert the ownership of the properties included in the
Maysilo Estate.

This Joint Special Power of Attorney has not been amended or revoked and shall be
binding upon unless revoked in writing and received by the Grantee.
