Qualities of a Good Leader

A good manager captains a group and advocate for changes by managing, identifying

problem and making decision to a problem. They also organize for the training of juniors employees.

A good leader relates well with their followers to ensure they work smoothly. Good leadership helps

the team to perform well. According to Dewan, & Myatt, (2008), good leadership enables

communication between the leader and their team members thus sending a message is simplified. A

team leader is seen in their relationship with their members. Good leaders can direct, guide,

supervise and instruct their followers. A good team leader ensures their team is united and their

team functions as well as possible. Good team leaders are sources of inspirations to the team when

they are working, and they are the line of communication from the upper management to the lower

echelons of management. A good leader will always advise their team members to improve if there

is room for improvement. A team leader is a cheerleader and will always see the weaknesses and

strengths of their team players, and they will advise them accordingly.
