Introduction
Oz Intro is the perfect start to your Gap Year, Working Holiday or Holiday in Australia.

An awesome group tour and starter package showing you the best of Sydney, and including
everything you'll need to live, work and travel in Australia. It's all about good times, new friends and
no worries!

Day 1: Arrive and Meet your Group

When you land in Sydney after your long flight we’ll be at the airport to meet you and take you to
the hostel. You’ll have plenty of time check in, relax and meet the rest of your group.

Day 2: City Orientation, Jet Boating & Night out

First things first we’ll get your bank account organised this morning, so your spending money is
sorted. We’ll then show you around the beautiful city of Sydney before Jet Boating on Sydney
Harbour! It's a great way to see the Opera House, Harbour Bridge and soak up the spectacular
views of Sydney. All whilst having a great laugh with your new mates.

Day 3: Private Sydney Harbour Cruise

Today we give you lots of information on travel around Australia, New Zealand and SE Asia before
heading out on our private cruise sailing around Sydney Harbour!

Day 4: Bondi Beach and Snorkeling

Today we'll visit the world famous Bondi Beach where you can take a swim or just relax and work
on your tan. Then we'll do the Bondi to Coogee Coastal walk. You'll snorkel in secluded bays, play
some beach volleyball and enjoy an Aussie beach BBQ and a few cold beers!

Day 5: Port Stephens and Sand Boarding

We'll take you out of Sydney and head north to the stunning Port Stephens, before tackling the
largest sand dunes in the southern hemisphere on a sand board! We’ll then hike to the top of Port
Stephens for a stunning view of the bay before heading to a brewery for some well deserved beer
and wine tasting. Tonight we’ll stay in a uniquely Australian bush bungalow and have a BBQ and a
few drinks. 

Day 6: Learn to Surf and Party

Wake up the sun rising over the Australian bush before jumping in 4WDs and cruising along a
beautiful secluded beach to learn to surf with qualified surf instructors! Relax after an amazing day
in the waves and spot some kangaroos, and if you’re lucky a koala before we make our way back
to Sydney for a night out on the town! 

Day 7: Chill out and get yourself sorted

Today is the day we help sort any or all of your onward travel around Australia. We’ll help plan and
organise the trip of a lifetime with the new friends you’ve made!

Day 8: Essential & Work Help, Farewell Dinner

Before Oz Intro finishes we’ll make sure all the essential stuff you’ll need to live and work in
Australia is done. We’ll give you a comprehensive ‘how to find work’ seminar and get you signed
up to our Oz Jobs program. Then we’ll get dressed up for our farewell dinner; the perfect way to
end your amazing Oz Intro experience!

Day 9: Check out and onward travel

Love every tour I do with intro and never want them to end! Oz intro
really helped me get settled in to Aussie life and Fiona and Will were
such good leaders! Fiona was so down to earth, a great friend and an
even better haka dancer. Will was also great, always had us laughing!
Both were so knowledgable and helpful when booking our onward
travel... would be lost without them. Wish the tour could have been
longer with more places to see.

Had a fantastic week- literally loved every minute of it! Got to see
what Sydney has to offer with amazing company! Port Stevens was
the highlight of the trip for me! Both our tour guides; Will and Fiona
were amazing throughout the week! Anything we needed both were
so accommodating and nothing was to much to ask. I had such an
absolutely amazing week would highly recommend!

This tour was so great, it is the absolute perfect start to a trip in
Australia! The itinerary is full and super well rounded with loads of
things to do. It’s really good that at the beginning of the week you get
all the admin stuff done and have a secure way of setting up bank
accounts and numbers and such. It gives you peace of mind and
allows you to get on with the week. The activities are super fun and
really offer the chance to see the best of Sydney and experience how
kind the people are. My personal favourite part was the two days in
Port Stephens, the hostel was ace, the people and activities were
amazing and it was great to get out the city. Fiona was literally made
for this job, she was so welcoming, fun, informative and all around
amazing. Her energy was great and worked so well will everyone on
tour. It was never too much to ask her anything and she always gave
the best answer possible. It was just great!

Have always traveled independently but after this experience I would
always choose intro. Had such an amazing time from start to finish
and was so much easier knowing we had Fiona taking care of us.

Will was such an amazing guide!! He made our experience in aus so
much fun and helped us with so much. We asked questions all the
time but it was never too much for him and he was always happy to
help!! Nothing was too much. He was a pleasure to be around. The
tour was so much better then we ever expected and everything was
done for us which made our adventure so easy that we had time to
enjoy.

Can you be roomed with a friend?

If you are travelling with someone then that is no problem at all! Just let us know you are
travelling together & we'll link you up so you are in the same group/room.

When and where does the tour end?

This tour ends in the morning at the Base Hostel in Sydney. There are no activities planned
on the last day of the tour, so you are free to depart at any time and if you need any advice
for your onward travels, your tour guides will be on hand all day to help you book your next
destination.

Do I need a visa?

As a tour booking website, TourRadar cannot organise visas for you on your behalf as the
visa requirements are regularly being updated and vary for the nationality of one traveller to
the next. It is for this reason that we recommend checking with your local embassy or
consulate website for the latest up to date information.

What are the optional excursions?

The tour operator has advised that they do not have a list of optional excursions available for
this tour, as the itinerary is already packed with plenty of included activities. If you need any
help with booking activities when the tour is finished, the tour guides will be there to help out!

What are the inclusions on this tour?

This includes all of your accommodation for the week, transport to the activities, all the tours
and activities for the week and all the essentials such as your SIM Card, Bank Account,
Medicare card and Tax File Number. You’ll also get free Internet access at the OzIntro office.
The only things which are not included are the flights, food and drink.

When and where does the tour start?

Day 1 of this tour is an arrivals day, which means that you can arrive at the Base Hostel in
Sydney anytime during the day. You do not need to worry about getting there from the airport
though, as the tour operator provides an included airport transfer for you! Feel free to explore
the area, but make sure you’re back in time to go out for dinner with your group around 5:30
pm.

Do you arrange airport transfers?

An airport arrival transfer is included in this tour, however, if you need to return to the airport
at the end of your tour, your group leader will be able to help you arrange a transfer at your
own expense.

Is this more of a backpacking or suitcase trip?

I would suggest a backpack as it is easier to move about.

What is the age range?

The age range for this tour is from 18 to 39 years old. This means that children under the age
of 18 are not eligible to participate in this tour due to the nature of the tour and the included
activities.

Can you assist with booking additional accommodation?
