Propose and prototype remotely controlled re ghting robot which will act as a rescue, reconnaissance and re
dousing bot equipped with caterpillar treads to maneuver challenging terrain with maximum control. It is equipped
with high intensity lighting. Furthermore, it can climb stairs, clear debris, act as rst responder during res. It has the
ability to withstand extreme conditions and relay live levels of toxic gases present in its vicinity via sensors on the
bot. In addition to the chemical foam, the bot will be equipped with water mist technology to enhance heat
extraction rate and quench out the ames. Enabled with thermal imaging, it will be able to provide live camera feed
to the operator for easy operation and survivor identi cation. A beacon would be dropped to mark the coordinates of
the person to be rescued. For capable however tapped people, a rst air kit with a oxygen backup to prevent
suffocation. For corners where bot cannot enter, an onboard drone equipped with becons can be deployed to mark
the positions of people stuck in places where the bot cannot reach.

Finding materials capable of withstanding temperatures up to 600 deg C (the temperature expected in a re).
Designing a special containment location in the bot to keep processor, sensors and electronics safe. Cooling the
electronics & ustilising the Fire Mist Technology. Also, designing a drone with beacon dropping facility to locate and
mark trapped personnel. Deisning an obsticle removeing claw to ef citively move hurdles and make a traversible
path for the both to reach places in the affected area.
