Aptitude Preparation Plan:

Aptitude consists of Quants, Logical and Verbal.

Have shared the detailed syllabus already in the PDF. Let's try to understand the preparation plan in detail. There are a
plenty of resources available to prepare Aptitude. Yet, every year students face issues with Apti.

Let's understand the reason.

1. Failing to start the preparation at the right time.

2. Lack of conceptual understanding

3. Taking Apti light assuming that it's just basic Maths ( This is not true). Dedicated preparation is necessary.

4. Lack of regular practice

5. Practicing conventional ideas and not practicing the right methodology / approach / shortcuts.

Though there are a lot of online resources available, not all contain Quality content. However, I would suggest a few
tutorials to start Aptitude preparation.

Quantitative Ability:

1. Refer “Perfect scores Aptitude” in YouTube.

2. I would also suggest a book to refer (Check whatsapp group)

Logical Reasoning:

1. Refer “Careerride aptitude tutorials” in YouTube.

Verbal:

1. Purchase the book named “Word power made easy” as mentioned earlier. Read regularly.

2. Start developing the habit of reading ( books /novels /articles / newspapers)

3. Work on basics Grammar ( good to start with school books to get the basics right)

Quantitative Aptitude Syllabus:

1. Number Systems 10. Equations
2. Time and Work, Pipes and Cisterns 11. Partnerships
3. Time, Speed and Distance 12. Problems on ages
4. Percentages 13. Permutations and Combinations
5. Profit and Loss 14. Probability
6. Mixtures and Allegations 15. Logarithms
7. Simple and Compound interest 16. Functions
8. Averages 17. Geometry
9. Ratio & Proportions 18. Mensuration
A few important points to note:

1. Chapters like Geometry are important for TCS. You can ignore them now and start focusing on the other topics.

2. Topics like Logarithms, Mensuration are formals based. You can complete it fast.

3. The remaining topics are heavy and you must work on them properly.

4. Don't search for important topics. Don't trust any online sources that provide important topics.

You will get questions from almost all topics.

5. If you find it hectic, let me give you a better option. You can ignore 1 or 2 topics maximum.

But be very strong with the remaining chapters.

Chapters that you should not ignore:

Percentages, Ratios and Proportions, Time and work, Time Speed Distance, Number System

6. Also it's important to follow a certain order to have flow.

Start with the following topics.

1. Ratio and Proportions

2. Percentages

Then move on to the remaining topics.

Logical Reasoning Syllabus:

1. Coding, Decoding 7. Venn diagrams

2. Number series 8. Blood relations
3. Visual Reasoning 9. Directions
4. Clocks 10. Coded inequalities
5. Calendars 11. Syllogism
6. Data Arrangements

A few important points to note:

1. Same for logical. You will get questions from all topics. It's always to good to prepare the entire syllabus.

2. You can start with any topic as the topics are not related to each other unlike Quants.

3. My suggestion for you all is to start with Data Arrangement topic.

Can't be prepared in a day or a week. Needs regular practice throughout.

Also start with coding decoding, Blood Relations, venn Diagrams, directions.
4. Logical is not as heavy as Quants. However, topics like Venn Diagrams, Syllogism, Clocks, need a lot of understanding
and practice.

5. I could observe students taking logical light ( assuming that logical can be solved with just common sense).

Yes of course applying your common sense, presence of mind is vital.

But do understand that you need to do some preparation conceptually and also practice to improve your speed.

All the very best…!
