COMPETENCIES:
OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to:
a. identify the meaning of homonyms;
b. find the homonyms of the given words and use them in meaningful sentences;
and
c. observe teamwork and sportsmanship as they participate in the provided activity
relevant to the lesson.

TEACHING PROCEDURE:
A. INTRODUCTION
Performing routinely activities
Review of the Past Lesson
Introduce the objectives
Present the topic by presenting words that observe homonymy.
B. INTERACTION
The teacher gives each student a homonym flashcards and tapes it on the
front of their shirt. The students are to find their classmates with the matching
homonym. When everyone has found their match, each homonym couple will
stand up, announce their word, spell it and describe its meaning by using it in a
sentence.
C. INTEGRATION
The students will enhance their capacity in different homonym and can
create meaningful sentences using homonym words.
