APPLICATION
ZR 20 is standard boom on Solo 5C and 5F and it is
designed to be used with LF 700 feed.
The ZR 20 boom is designed for applications in
mechanized long-hole drilling. Typical suitable
stoping methods are sublevel stoping/caving and
underground benching.
DESCRIPTION
The ZR 20 is a heavy-duty hydraulic long-hole boom
with a capacity for 2 000 mm vertical parallel drilling
capacity, wide tilt angles and full 360° rotation. The
boom is rigid and robust and capable of carrying and
holding all the weight and forces created by drilling.
High rotation torque is provided by sieving ring and
two heavy duty gear boxes with hydraulic motors.
Sturdy construction, rear stinger and front stringer
(option) ensure high drilling accuracy with the ZR 20
boom.
Boom extension enables the rotation point to stay at
the same level throughout the parallel hole coverage
area.
Large dimensioned rectangular profile, adjustable
boom extension wear pieces, large diameter
bearings and efficient sealing are some of the details
that are included in the boom design for improved
reliability.
