Visited M/s Lonestar LLC, Musaffah on 02-06-2020 and the following activities were done as per the RFI-7084-HO-839
1. Macro Examination
Total 02 pcs of Samples were subject to Macro Examination
Traceability marking identified on Test samples as:

Visual inspection performed the samples which were etched and polished. Noticed the Parent material, Heat Affected zone,
and Weld area with the Number of passes (weld beads) are clearly visible and found in good condition. No visual discontinuity
or defects observed in Macro Examination.
Test samples – 02 pcs were after Macro Analysis – Result – Satisfactory.
1. Hardness Check
Machine No.HTM9248 used for Hardness check.

Hardness values obtained are in the range of 182 to 211 were noted by the Lab personnel and will be reflected on the
Laboratory Report.
Hardness Values obtained are found in acceptable range.
Hardness Testing – Satisfactory.
2. Tensile Testing
U.T.M. Machine No.46280 used for the Mechanical Tensile Testing.

Test samples - Reduced section Width, thickness measured, and the values were note down by Lab personnel.
Initial Gauge Length measured & marked as 50mm.
Tensile Testing performed and the obtained values were noted were found in the range of
Yield Strength – 514 to 573 N/mm square

Tensile Strength – 593 to 662 N/mm square
% Elongation – 36 to 41%
Final Gauge Length – 68mm to 70.5mm
Tensile Testing Values obtained are found in acceptable range.
Tensile Test Result – Satisfactory.
3. Charpy Impact Testing
Machine No.142809 used for the Impact Testing at -20Deg C.

06 sets were tested. Each set consists of 03 samples.
Width x thickness x Length measured as: 10mm x 10mm x 55mm
V Notch profile checked on Profile Projector and found the Profile is in line with the standard drawing.
Impact Testing performed at -20 Deg C with Hold time of 5 minutes.
The Obtained values for the Impact Testing are in range of 312 to 404Joules.
Impact Testing Values obtained are found in acceptable range.
Impact Test Result – Satisfactory.
