from deepest part of heart to my course coordinator Dr. Gurvinder Aulakh , Assistant Professor,
University Institute of Agricultural Sciences for his sustained and valuable guidance,
constructive suggestions, friendly approach, constant support and encouragement during conduct
of this course.
I am specially greatful to our course teacher Mr. Dheeraj Kamboj, Assistant Professor,
University Institute of Agricultural Sciences for his valuable suggestions and help provided
during the study. He had been very kind to us in extending all posible help during conduct of this
course.

(Technical officer, Plant Pathology- Nepal Agricultural Research Council, Regional agriculture
research station, Khajura Banke, Nepal ) for his invaluable guidance, constant encouragement,
friendly attitude, useful discussion and peerless critisim during my “Agro-Industrial
Attachment” which help me to learn somethinng new at each and every moment during my stay
at RARS, Khajura, Nepal. He has always been a fountain of inspiration to me .
My sincere thanks to all the Scientists, Technical Officers, Faculty members in the Department
of Plant Pathology, Department of Soil science, Department of Horticulture, Department of
Plant breeding and Genetics and Department of Agronomy, RARS, Khajura for their valuable
help and moral support during “Agro-Industrial attachment” module.
I dedicated this golden chapter of my life to the entire farming community of village Rora,
Gharuan, Batta, Sil, Vivipur and nearby areas who had been always kind and supportive to me
with their unfailing patience during my village attachment.
The love and hospitality of villagers was really heart touching, without their cooperation I could
not have complete our work properly. Specially, I am very much thankful to “Rural Agriculture
Work Experience” and “ Agro-Industrial Attachment” for enabling me to differentiate between
theoretical knowledge of book and real picture of rural agriculture.
It is not possible to give a mention to everybody by words but We are gratified to everyone who
had been a source of moral support and inspiration directly or indirectly during conduct of this
