STRATEGY IN REVIEW

PLUG IN TECHNIQUE
Whenever there are variables in the answer choices, you can use the plug in technique. Let the problem
be your guide for what number you choose to plug in. On percent problems, plug in 100. On problems with
multiple fractions, plug in the lowest common denominator. Use numbers that are easy to work with and
make sense in the given problem. A little forethought goes a long way!
