OBSERVATION 1 2 3 / 4
GENERAL OBSERVATIONS:
The teacher started with preliminaries. She started with a prayer and had and
attendance check. She asked the learners if they are fond of describing objects and
talking to friends. She grouped them into three. Each group would choose a scenario
written in a strip of paper that is being put in a colorful box. They are to act their chosen
scenario and another group would identify it. the groups were to write their answers in
a construction paper. Each group posted their answers on the board. The teacher
acknowledged the work of the learners by clapping their hands. The teacher processed
the answers leading to the topic. She presented the definition of the topic and she asked
the learners for a deeper understanding of the lesson. She encouraged the learners to
think and express their thought and developed their higher order thinking skills. In
abstraction phase, she continued the grouping and let each group answer the activity.
After, answers were posted on the board and all the learners evaluated it. a paper-pencil
test was given. She ended the lesson by quoting a line from Thomas Edison which gives
an inspiration to the learners.
Comments and Suggestions:
The teacher shows mastery of her lesson. She has a good classroom management.
She has a well-modulated voice and she maximized the time well by having group works
and activities. The learners were very cooperative during the group activity, however
during group activity kindly let the group at their respective seat so that all the learners
can clearly see the actions of their classmates. Kindly give activities that would develop
the numeracy skills of the learners. Overall, the teacher delivered the topic well.
Congratulations for a job well done. Keep up the good work.
