Dear Mr. Omar Faruk,

With reference to your quotation dated: 02 July, 2016 and subsequent discussions had with
you, the management is pleased to place an order on you for subjected job as per below
noted terms and conditions for the Azim & Son Project.

Scope of Work:

 Work should be done as per Drawing & instruction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

 All working equipments including gas, Oxygen & welding machine supplied by
contractor.

Total working value of the above mentioned work is BDT- 60,000.00 (Sixty Thousand) only.

You are entitled to follow rules and regulations and standard set by the company
management.

 Terms & Conditions
Project Name: Azim & Son Stair Retrofit Work

1. Duration: The whole work must be done within 22.07.2016.

2. Tools and Equipments: All kinds of equipment will be supplied by the contractor.
3. Progress of Work & its Completion: Contractor must complete the whole works as
per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
4. Cancellation of work order:
a) If a contractor fails to achieve the expected progress or makes delay in work progress
or mobilize fewer work forces, the authority reserves every right to cancel the work
order or will engage other agency or daily basis mason and labors for timely
completion of the job, payment for these labors will be deducted from the
contractor’s account.
b) Contractor will have to engage sufficient skilled and obedient labor at site. If any
labor seems to be unfit or if someone misbehaves with company staff he will be
turned out from site within 24 hours' notice or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
5. Accidental Fatal: All incidental expense is to be borne by the contractor. BCL will not
pay any compensation to the workers for any incidental fatal.
6. Unlawful Activities: Contractor must ensure that he or his workers do not involve
themselves in any kinds of anti social activities.
7. Mode of Payment:
a) Full amount paid as advance with work order.
8. Workmanship:
a) All workmanship must be of good standard and acceptable to the Engineer-in-
Charge.
b) Rate may be reduced or no payment will be made due to poor workmanship.
c) Any faulty or defective work done by the contractor shall be rectified by the
contractor at his own cost for labors and materials .
9. Validity of Rates: The rate is valid only for this project.
