With reference to the discussions and negotiations with you for Hording Texture Painting On with
material Basis at our Project Socity HIVIYA VILLA Sahakar Nagar Pune. We are glad to issue
this work order.

Quality and timely completion of work with safety is the essence of this contract. If it is found
at any time, any negligence or violation to quality and time, the work may get terminated with
immediate effect. This site should be totally accident free and safety precautions must be
followed. If any accident or death occurs on site, it will be all your responsibility and the work
may be terminated. All other terms and conditions are applicable as an annexure below.
You are advised to Mobilize Manpower to start the work within 7 days of letter of intent and
follow the schedule.

Providing and applying the APEX weather proof exterior
emulsion(water based 100% acrylic) or approved
equivalent grade paint to all type of cement plasters,
concrete, exterior ceiling etc. or surface / sub straits(which
are subjected to continuous seepage and dampness. The
surface to be painted shall be made free from any loose
paint, dust, grease and any fungus, algae or moss, on it
shall got be removed thoroughly by vigorous wire
brushing and cleaning with water. Then one coat of
exterior grade wall primer be applied after which any
surface imperfection such as holes, dents, fine cracks shall
be corrected by filling with external wall putty. Thereafter
second coat of exterior grade wall primer and again surface
imperfection to be corrected. Thereafter Apex

2 weatherproof exterior emulsion paint to be applied in two 299.82 199 59664.18

coats. All materials shall be of Asian/ British/ Nerolac
make. The color and pattern/ color combination of the
paint shall be got approved from Engineer in charge.
Contractor has to submit photographs of building with
colour combinations for sample selection. The stock of the
quantity for all material as manufacturer’s theoretical
consumption (per unit of actual wall surface area) shall be
made available at site before commencement of the
painting work. The rate includes cost of all materials,
labour, scaffolding, ladders charges, storing&safeguarding
the labour in all heights (all external walls, compound
walls etc.) Contractor has to take all risk insurance policy
from reputed insurance agency before commencement of
work, contractor has to provide all precautions’ and

 arrange safety belts, helmets to all working labours at site.

NOTE: Bonus valid if contractor achieved given target within 40-day from the date of issuing work
order.
MINIMUM LABOUR CRITERIA:--
PAINTERS: - 20 Nos.

PAYMENT TERMS AND TAXES:-

1) GST Extra as per applicable.
2) 70% payment release against material received at site.
3) Payment will be done as per Activity Target Sheet as below.
Payment will be released within 15 days as per given in Activity Target Sheet & work stages
after certification of bill subject to completion of that particular work stage with all respect in
time. Any incomplete work will not be considered for payment. If in case the contractor fails to
complete the given stage even after given time extension, payment will not be made for that part
of work.
4) 5 % Amount of each R.A. Bill will be retained as Security Deposit, which will be released after
the Completion of defect liability period of 6 calendar months.
5) T.D.S will be deducted from each R.A. bill as per rules and regulations.

A) CONTRACTOR’S SCOPE OF WORK: -

1) Texture painting work (External Walls at any level) with material basis.
2) Tie rod Hole filling work to be done by using GP2 or similar material. Care should be taken
by contractor to avoid cracks around the treated surface.
3) Surface preparation i.e. dust removing, dirt removing by air pressure & grinding if required,
Fill in Holes & Joint Gap with Putty is in contractor's scope.
4) Honey comb repair & edges or corners making work wherever required.
5) Applying waterproof Putty for horizontal bands to achieve desired finish.
6) Uniform Texture scratch finish.
7) Applying 2 Coat of ASIAN ROYALE LUSTER Paint, Care should be taken by contractor
to avoid patches after painting work.
8) Scaffolding should be avoided as far as possible, at exceptional cases if it is required, then
Scaffolding material will be provided by company & scaffolding erection should be done by
contractor himself.
9) Providing Gandola (Hanging platform) & shifting to be done by contractor itself
10) Before Commencement of work, Documents of labor insurance & machinery audit
certificates (3rd party report) should be submitted.

 11) If Scaling, cracks appears after painting during warranty period then contractor has to repair
it at its own cost
12) Guarantee of painting work to be submitted by manufacturer (5 to 6 years) on behalf of
contractor before starting of work.
13) Provision of protecting covering the shrubs/ plants, windows with other area to be made by
contractor.
14) Cleaning & Housekeeping (window glass, frame, railing, floor surface etc. ) after completion
of work to be done by contractor himself.

B) COMPANY’S SCOPE :--

1) Providing Labor Hutments, with drinking water and sanitation facility at suitable locations.
2) Providing arrangement for Water Supply & Electric supply at place of work.
3) Safety PPE set would be provided by company to contractor on returnable basis. If not returned,
the same would be recovered from the regular RA Bills.

1. SAFETY AT SITE
1.1 The contractor will observe all statutory and legal requirements by Central and state Government
applicable to the work as well as any local regulations applicable to the site issued by the Engineer-In-
Charge/ Consultant or other authority, and collaborate with the Engineer-In-Charge / Consultant in all
matters connected with safety.
1.2 Night work will be permitted only with prior approval of Engineer-In-Charge/ Consultant. Engineer-
In-Charge may also require contractor to operate extra shifts over and above normal day shift to ensure

 completion of contract on schedule, if in his opinion such work is required. Permission for such work can
be given only after providing adequate supervision by contractor to Engineer-In-Charge/ Consultant’s
satisfaction. Also, the Contractor will ensure that no disturbance is caused to neighboring people.
1.3 The Contractor shall observe and comply with safety procedures, work permit systems and any other
such regulations/ procedures of Engineer-In-Charge and also ensure that children of workers are not
allowed within the working area. All necessary personal protection equipments to workers and staffs as
per safety rules such as safety belts, helmets, safety shoes etc. shall be provided during construction. The
Contractor will install a safely net all around the building for the safety of people working on the ground.
1.4 If at any time Contractor’s methods, materials or equipments appear to Engineer-In-Charge/
Consultant to be unsafe, inefficient or inadequate for securing safety of workmen or the public, the quality
of the work or the rate of progress required, he may order Contractor to ensure therein safety, and increase
their efficiency and adequacy, and Contractor shall promptly comply with such orders.
1.5 In case of Any injury/incident falling of labour from any height or injury/illness while unsafe
machinery/Tool operations or injury/illness while using electrical power without following above safety
norms. Also responsibility of sub ordinate working contractors labours at the time of working on site at
any level & any area of building is Contractors Responsible.
1.6 The Contractor must follow all the Safety norms as per Safety IS Codes.
1.7 As a safety Precaution, the contractor / Contractor’s Employee must not tap or tamper any of the
electrical installation provided in the room and labour camp or from common area. Such type of mistake is
risky & hazardous to life, any Contractor employee found tapping/damaging electrical installation will be
liable for action by the management against the contractor & his employee. While making of electricity or
taping of electrical connection from any common point or room point any injury/incident happens its total
responsibility of contractor.
