approved Colour and shade Granite kitchen platform, granite facia, granite
edge rounding / chamfering and polishing at all levels. Laying / fix with
approved adhesive to facilitate fixing of kitchen counter granite on moisture
resistant ply board. Rate to include cutting of hole for fixing of SS sink and
passing of gas/utility pipe/RO supply pipe. Also rates are inclusive of fixing of

granite shall be equal in case the joint is unavoidable at single side. 900

Labour charge for laying in position to pattern 16mm thick prepolished
Granite stone Cladding to walls, columns and other vertical faces like lift
facia at all levels, laid over a backing of 20-22 mm thick cement mortar 1:4,
Cement mortar admixed with non shrinkage compound i.e cebex-100
(1packet 227gms per bag of cement) including providing necessary holes to
receive metal fixing cramps etc (if required),complete in all respect. Granite
will be provided of random slab.
Rate to include fixing grit on the back of stone with Araldite for proper
bonding & Including filling of all joints with Araldite, colour matching to granite
shade, making nosing, grooves, pointing, polishing, hacking on soffit only etc
wherever required, scaffolding, curing surface cleaning etc , complete as per
drawing. , methodology, drawings and as directed by Engineer In Charge.
4.2 Rate including edge chamfering/grinding, complete as per specification and Sqm.

acceptance criteria for granite works shall be as per technical specification

approved quality in specifed size as per drawing laid over 15-20 mm avg
thickness of cement mortar 1:4 (1cement : 4 coarse sand) base along with
rich cement slurry. The item includes chamfering, pointing, edge polishing,
rubbing, surface cleaning, polishing etc wherever required. Work shall be
executed and paid for as per the approved sample. Protection (if required) to
the finished surface with approved protective sheet/or any other means etc
4.3 all complete as per drawings, technical specifications and as directed by the
Engineer in charge. The acceptance criteria for granite works shall be as per
technical specification & approved method Statement. No hollowness will be Sqm. 1,100
permited for granite work when check with hard object / tool. Granite shall be
tested in accordance with apoved ITP and IS 14223. For wet area colour
pigment should be epoxy based.
