According to research, creating visual representations of concepts and ideas can improve
comprehension by helping us break down, organize and remember what we learn. In fact, simply
doodling may help all students, but especially those with attention-deficit disorder, better
focus in class — even if the doodle has nothing obvious to do with the content being taught.
