 Acrylic polymers are the premier polymer for the development of high
performance interior or exterior coatings

 Current applications include


 Exterior coatings that display excellent colour retention, dirt pickup
resistance and gloss retention
 Elastomeric coatings
 Interior coatings

 High quality coatings can be developed from Acrylic copolymers due to the
wide range of properties able to be designed. Properties can be altered by
monomer selection(s), particle morphology changes and potential
crosslinking abilities.

Acronal® ECO 7082 – formulating low sheens

 Current formulation knowledge built up using Acronal® ECO 9056 is able


to be transferred to Acronal® ECO 7082 successfully

 Stain resistance can be influenced by rheology modifier and dispersing


agent chosen to formulate with.

 Approximately 6-8% w/w on solid polymer of coalescing agent required for


low temperature applications.

 Successful low odour coatings developed with low odour coalescing


agents such as Loxanol® CA5308

strength when formulated correctly

they be mid to high PVC in formulating style
