EAST ARINGAY, LA UNION.

WHEREAS, it is necessary to re-organize Barangay Nutrition Council (BNC) of San Juan East,
Aringay, La Union to strengthen and sustain its functionality in the prevention of malnutrition in our barangay.

WHEREAS, said organization be primarily tasked to prevent malnutrition in our barangay and to
conduct regular meetings, related trainings and other capability building activities.

WHEREAS, the BNC Members are person in authority to prevent malnutrition;

WHEREFORE, on motion of Kagawad Loreta D. Frigillana, unanimously seconded, be it.

WHEREAS, the Barangay Development Council is the body to resolve all the problems in our
Barangay;

WHEREAS, this body is the working enthusiast to uplift the living condition of the constituents;

APPROVING THE BARANGAY DEVELOPMENT

PLAN FOR BY 2008, FUNDED BY THE 20% OF IRA

Whereas, the Barangay Development Council, the development and planning arm of the Barangay had
prepared the Barangay Development Plan based on local requirements and local existing guidelines.

WHEREAS, after careful identification and deliberation on the needs of the community and identified in
the Medium Term Development Plan, the council had agreed on the different programs and projects (see
attached program) for funding and implementation for the year 2008;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of BDC Member, Pepito G. Rullan unanimously seconded, be it;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to approve the Barangay Development Plan for BY

2008 funded from the 20% of IRA.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be forwarded to the Barangay council for their
appropriate action.
