Apart from the installation of three new PET lines, the expansion project also
involves the expansion of the water treatment facility, construction of an
additional nine trucking bays, syrup room expansion, and construction of resin
injection operation area. The expansion covers 3.30 hectares.
The three new lines that were installed are considered to be the fastest bottling
lines in the world, utilizing the most technologically-advanced German and
Italian technology in beverage manufacturing.
The Coca-Cola FEMSA Philippines Canlubang Plant now has a total of nine
bottling lines. This brings total annual capacity of this plant to 265 million
physical cases from a previous annual capacity of 170 million.
This is part of the committed investment of US$1 billion made by the Coca-Cola
System.
